What with WAP access being unavailble for some time now, and the idea to bring it back up being shot down, how about a text-only minimal skin with all arbitrary size information and unnecessary details removed? A lot of phones can access regular WWW, so while a WAP site would be out of the question at least a text-only version would facilitate mobile access.

Of course, then you ahve the bot frontdoor to worry about, but I propose shrinking that to a more manageable size.

Isn't the argument with WAP access that it creates an unfair advantage for players with out mobile phones. If that is the case then I would have to object. But if the reason is just because it would be to hard for what ever reason the I would sign.

No, it's that bot users use wap gateways.

Wap also encourages multis... someone makes a planet from their mobile and initiates roids like that and then farms it from their computer account...

there is currently a text only skin that works in opera - in future versions of FF and IE it might work there, but we will look at providing a better hard coded text-only skin.
