Re: Snow Watch UK
It was lovely and sunny in Ed this morning, almost a perfect day and I felt glad to be alive.
It's now clouded over with fairly dark sky-madness so we could be looking at a bit tonight but last year in Ed I can only remember about a one-week period where it snowed at all, and even then it was fairly intermittent and wasn't very disruptive.

It's cold in Cambridge, but then it's always cold in Cambridge, so I'm not awfully shocked.

Re: Snow Watch UK
it's about -8 and snowing like MrL's dandruff here in Dresden.
People might comment that Dresden is not in the UK, but I AM the UK, and so where I am, the UK is too.

It started to snow in Dunblane at 15:45 (or thereabouts).
I am about to go back up to Glasgow.
Maybe it will be snowing there by the time i arrive.

Re: Snow Watch UK
Its been hovering around -10 to -6 Celsis in the Philly area for almost 2 weeks now and where suppose to get even more snow and hail tonight.
It hasn't gone above freezing for quite some time and there is a solid ice back by the fire escape that I NEED to get rid of but can't. I emptied a 50 pound bag on the mother with Calcium Chloride and it only melted half an inch of its 3 inch depth:/

Mexico City is disappointingly cloudyish and not as warm as I'd expected at a measly 14 deg C or so.

Apparently it might be snowing very lightly in some part of London.

Hello, this is Aberystwyth calling and may i say what a good job you are doing this year running the show anyway here are the results of the Aberystwyth Jury
Snow - nil pois (sp?)
Cold - 12
Windy - 12
Bitter - 12
lathargic - 12
TO COLD TO SURVIVE - 12
That completes the scores of the Aberystwyth jury

Re: Snow Watch UK
It started snowing here at about midnight last night.
I had a snowball fight in Caius College at about half past one but the porters didn't like it and chucked us out.
(Well, actually, they told us to go to bed or they'd send us to the Senior Tutor, but as I'm not at Caius that was a rather meaningless threat.)
