I forgot to say goodbye

Having now pretty much gone into PA retirement, I guess I should say a quick farewell.

I normally don't read these threads, so I assume most won't read this one either.

For those that know me, you know I've never been shy in doing ANYTHING that was needed for NoS to succeed. In a way, my retirement is just a continuation of that thinking. My heart is no longer in it, and as such I need to be replaced.

I already stood down for round 10 and devote my time now days to playing Eve with P0ma, Hellz and the crew from hirr. /me waves to tic.

I may return round 11, but in any event, my heart will always be NoS.

To those that stood by me, no matter what I did, I thank you. To those that stood against me... I also thank you, because without opposition, there is stagnation.

To people like Censor, Tink, P0ma, Polgara, Xalibur, Pia, Syraxen/Adastra, Archi, Xandria, Wipeout and a miriad of others... You will always be in my thoughts and memories. You were/are an enormous part of my life and are as real to me as my own family.

Dingo im sure that i dont speak for everyone in PA but i am sure i share the views of NoS by saying that u will be missed terribly. You created NoS as a home with a kind of community that i have never found anywhere in my travels in PA through the rounds. Your leadership led NoS to be one of the highest ranking and respected alliances and gave us the kind of history we can be proud of today, and its because of that spirit that we continue playing PA in the way u taught us when so many other larger alliances have quit and moved on.
Dingo u've been more than a leader to me, id like to look back on those days as being ur friend and to many more u was a a kind of father someone we turned to in times of need.
I can only hope that u have a well deserved break and come back to once again lead us in round 11.

Kjel, offtopic I know, but have you ever thought of making that website in your sig actually work ? english translation sucks, lots of broken links, if its just a mess about fair enough, but if its a serious buisness it reaks of n00bie'ness.

that's a fair and correct remark, fact is we got so many running orders that we don't have time updating our own site. alot of projects we're working on aren't even mentionned on the site, due to changing DB and other stuff (you know how lazy students can be when it comes to details ).

Eventually it will be finished etc ...

ohhh and, it's not what they call a "legal" operation, we don't have the money for it yet
But it's serious business, as we earn between 1500 and 2500 Euro's for a website.

I personally found NoS impossible to work wiv and as such Im not too impressed. U are however a rather known person in the madness that is planetarion, so I guess u leaving has a bad symbolic effect for some.

Ai. Sad news.

I got to know you back in round 4. We were in the same cluster, and you were a top 5 player. The problems started when you broke the cluster NAP and launched your butt ugly fleet at me during those wicked aussie hours (most likely because I had attacked one of your fellow nosers). You never landed, as my precious lemmings defended me over and over again. You almost became the target of the 4th lemming run back then, a decision that was changed in the last minute as we saw there was no way you were going to win the round anyway.

Then, what do you know, two rounds later we ended up in the same galaxy. Did WE have some fun in round 6! I won't rant about the following couple of rounds, you know what went on anyway.

I'll miss you. Make sure to pop by that channel of ours from time to time, and I'll promise to do the same. See you around!
