Hey man, when did Tuhoaja cheat? I'm not certain, but iirc he got closed and reopened, that means he's a prooven non-cheater

Anyways....anybody remember a dude called Phoenix from many rounds ago?
I thought he was a great bc, he was in Instinct for a while (before that Legion). I never heard from him after that though
Another mentionable guy is definately Silverbullet from r6, I'll never forget his dedication, especially on counterattacks in the early mornings

Two guys who still impress me is Jurgen and Lizardking. If any of those two set their mind on killing a planet/galaxy, they certainly do just that
90% of their attacks that I've joined is up there at "top pwned gals" the next morning
I dunno if that's a decent measurement of "TEH BEST BC EVAR!" but they're very hot and sexy boys.

...but what do I know, I suck + "cheat" and I'm ugly too.

Over the years there are have been several GREAT BC's.
However what would they have been without their great alliances, and the given policys and conditions which they got to work with/under.

Personally I can't really name one perticular BC, which I think is the best of all times.

I could give you a huge list of names though, that I consider damn good at setting up attacks and running defence calls. Then there are also those who are 'good' in the sense that they get their jobs done, but not always in the best interest of an alliance.

- 10 Criterias -
( of the top of my head )
- Dedication and the ability to invest alot of time( or as much as needed) is a requirement.
- The understanding of the game.
- Abit of social intelligence
- aLOT of patience and stamina
- Food and Drinks available (in close range)
- Initiative / Imagination
- Balls ( in the 'brave' sense;P)
- Relations and contacts (people he/she can call upon, in need of help or a favour)
- Trust and loyalty ( goes both ways, from top-command and down to p3on)
- The ability to have fun, relax and keep a clear mind while under pressure

Tech tools to decrease the burden on the poor BC is of immense help.
pen, paper and calculator - is easily out performed by todays tech tools (target systems etc.)

My last years of experience in Planetarion included among other things running Military for Wolfpack, from a HC position but it also meant being involved in more or less all the aspects of military coordination. I did not operate as an BC in the usual term.

BC work = Team Work

Alot of BC's don't last more than a round.
They get burned out, as their job is very excausting.
Which is one of the reasons why I believe it is very important to treasure your BC's while you have them. Let them know you apreciate their incredible work.
( this goes for all positions in an alliance really. Be it HC, BC, DC, FC, BGC, RO, p3on or whatever their titles are) (It is after all charity work..)

..but most honestly because I have not worked with you personally over longer periods of time, and don't wish to make any judgement over everyone.

I have coordinated small/large/gigantic and insane military operations with most of the big alliances in my time in planetarion, so I do have a decent knowledge on how things have been.

If the members are the Alliance - is a BC without guns(members) nothing ?

its a shame not to see more votes for tig up there. I never played a real round with the guy but in lan and speed pa he was organised and extremely good at what he had to do. He also never believed he was always right which unfortunately arrogance is prevalent in too many of the big names to beclassed as the best.

Unfortunately I think focht is right as yu cannot have a decent debate about the best bc sicne this conversation needed to happen round 6 at the latest, because everyone will go for who they know.

I guess thats why polls like this are always doomed to fail as everyone is subjective so its who can canvass the most votes.

Ive never really been on his side and have had some issues with him in the past, but having been in a Gal with Jurgen, I can say he almost certainly demands a spot on this list. He is a good leader, understands the game, and has done an increible job with his BG. The loyalty hes inspired with his gang is, in my opinion, second only to Sids.

As for you and your speed games, youre entitled to your opinion, but to quite frank, ITS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME. So I really fail to see how anything related to the speed game has any relevence whatsoever.

Well this thread has provided me with much amusement but i think its about time i closed it before i split my sides.

AD gets worse and worse. These days it just seems to be full of big headed twats who thing they know everything and wont let anyone with a differing view have their input. Its pretty much the whole problem with PA these days, its become a restriced niche consisting of self imposed leet players with their own heads so far up their arses they can tickle their own tonsils. Its no wonder new players dont stick around.

Its about time you learnt that maybe, just maybe, your opinion isnt always the only one that might be right. If that happens we might get to a situation where i'm not having to close threads because of a childish competition to see who can piss heighest up a wall.
