Now cmon guys we all go misty eyed as we remember the old rounds, the days of Legion, Fury, Blue Tuba. of Cargoships, EMP shuttles, PDS, and when Cluster Alliances actually meant something. Even the n00bs like me who hung around from r1-r5 looking silly and enjoying scuffles at the lower end love those days.

So how about a Tribute Round? Syn Sid could ressurect Fury for a 1 round comeback tour, maybe have Exil and co as Legion, ND and F-Crew proudly waving their banners as the longest running alliances in PA.

I know theres alot of people out there that loved those days and remember them fondly. And it would be great to see hordes of Interceptors again. Even if its a shorter round, Maybe for the round before Christmas/New Year, a celebration of PA and how it started, back to the roots as they say. It might even spark an even better community spirit in todays pa.

What do people think, surely a trip back in time would be a good thing, a way to find what PA really is about.

I leave u to think about it, at the very least it might help u all remember some of the funny times u had, the good times.

I don't go misty-eyed. I remember the days of being bashed by people five times the size of me, of a well-built fleet being useless, of cluster alliances promising so much but being entirely useless.

Those were the days.

cluster alliances were funny. there was the "offiical" one, then the secret one that all the fairly big alliances were in that farmed the other one.
the two problems with redoing the round are
1) not so many players.
2) we don't have the code.

If you're willing to find 100k players and the code, then we'll look into it

Shortened free round would gather quite a few players and might persuade many of them to stick around & pay.

Yeah... the last free round got about 20k players as I recall (9.5, 2 years ago).

There is a difference between 20k players and 20k planets

. The differences tend to be especially poigant in free rounds (as it doesnt cost money to cheat).
