Girl with X-Ray Eyes
Who just watched the Body Shock documentary on Channel 4?
http://www.channel4.com/culture/micr...ray/index.html for all the info who missed it.
I believe she is true. These scientists, who presumably believe in God, do not question God with science and cannot prove the existence yet question the ability of a person who can see what's wrong beyond scientific explaination. The scientific theory was "art of persuasion" which I have studied at an advance depth and hardly any of the methods and techniques are actually used. She has no direct or indirect intake/outtake so it's basically ruled out of the question.
It did raise a good point - belief. How far are you willing to believe? What do you believe in that resides no proof?

Re: Girl with X-Ray Eyes
Isn't it dangerous to use one's entire vocabulary list in one sentence?

I did not watch the documentary, but did they say this? What kind of scientists were they?

That some scientists lack intellectual honesty does not increase the validity of a charlatan's claims.

Re: Girl with X-Ray Eyes
i reckon she works a bit like a fortune teller or psychic
in that she picks up on signals from the people who are infront of her
as it only really works when she talks at them about everything that might be wrong and they match it up to things they know
she will make a good doctor though when she has trained
reads people very well

Re: Girl with X-Ray Eyes
I read in the comic book that she will lose her powers with her virginity as many of these gypsy princess handreaders et al.

Re: Girl with X-Ray Eyes
Didn't William Shatnet do a song called The Girls with the X-Ray eyes, or did I just dream it?

He did a cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, if that's what you're thinking of.
