Re: [Football] Euro2004 prediction league
for football standards these days? some offensive action from the checz with finest direct pass combinations was extra-ordinairey.

Re: [Football] Euro2004 prediction league
It was the best game i have ever watched, and thus in my humble opinion , the "Best Game Ever".
Those who wish to claim otherwise, please provide examples and explain why their game was better than the world class spectacle played out today.

Bollocks
The sheer quality of the attacking players on show was breathtaking. The defensive players also made some brilliant contributions , the goalkeepers were both amazing, and the only type of action the game was missing was a streaker.
It had everything. Its the best game of the tournament, and the best ive ever seen. I really doubt any game is going to top that any time soon.

Liverpool 4 Newcastle 3
Off the top of my head that's the only game i can think of to compete with last nights.
Edit:
Maybe Man U's amazing come backs against Spurs or Juve.

I can say Arsenal v Man U back in 1998-99 F.A. Cup semi-final was on the same level as the Czech-Holland game. It had almost everything, good goals, sending off, disallowed goal, penalty save to name some.
Other games really good:
Spain v Yugoslavia Euro2000
Liverpool v Newcastle 4-3
Man City v Spurs 4/5-3
Man U v Spurs 5-3
Juve v AC Milan CL final 2003 (debatable)

Re: [Football] Euro2004 prediction league
Rangers 3 Aberdeen 1 for the title back in 95-96 if I remember rightly. It was Gazza magic just before he then went on and pulled it all out of the bag for the match against scotland in euro 96 :/
(best game I've ever watched and I've watched the ones described above)
