Didn't see that coming; a better-than-average season ending.

Re: Enterprise Season end - Spoiler free
I'm not so sure, there is just something about a 'Blue-skinned Nazi Alien Vampire from outer-space' that says 'bad writing' to me.
Until then the episode was going great, indeed the whole season was.
This stupid cliff-hanger is just an unneeded attempt to make people tune in for next season, since they would have anyway regardless after the excellent seaon 3. It'll all be tied up in the first episode of season 4 I bet.

Re: Enterprise Season end - Spoiler free
I think it will turn into a mini arc of 3-4 episodes. According to startrek.com somewhere, I read that they just hired the writers. ie they don't even have the season written yet.... so literally nobody knows.

only if you look at it from a ST continuity perspective. otherwise, it's pretty damn good. And also Porthos.

From what I've seen of Season 3, it's improved quite a lot. But the main characters are pretty dire. Only Sam Beckett has any personality at all. The rest are shit.

More like "We dont know what to do next, so lets take them to a alternate Earth where the past was changed at a pivotal point in human history, since we're dealing with time-travel on a fairly regular basis these days anyway".
