Latin America
I realise you guys are a bunch of internet geeks who rarely leave the house let alone the country; but I was wondering if you could help with this:
Basically I want to go to Latin America this summer. My current plan is to fly to Lima in Peru and two weeks later to fly from La Paz in Bolivia back to the UK.
Got any first/second/third hand advice about doing this? Or better yet know any links to any websites that may be useful?

Re: Latin America
I don't dream of having sex with Argentinian Presidents, if that's that you mean.
Although there were some really 'friendly' girls involved in that particular dream.

Re: Latin America
I don't think MrL could have derailled a thread as impressively as that.

Re: Latin America
Lonely Planet provides good travel advice from memory. They have tales from people who have been recently - generally the best source of info.
What kind of things do you want to know?

Re: Latin America
I'm compelled to say GETTING KIDNAPPED LIKE A BITCH. Though more constructively I'd agree with Dante, Lonely Planet'd be a good place to start for advice.

I read (on the Lonely Planet website in fact) that some people who've gone on the Amazon trek have ended up drugged up and raped.
So here's hoping!
