Would signing up on August 25th mean that the 2 week trial runs out before ticks start? Or is the 2 week trial actally a number of ticks rather than 14 days in the calendar?

On a different note it was a pleasant surprise to see a post on the forums regarding the situation instead of on the portal. I go here at least once per day to read the latest, whereas I check the portal maybe once every fortnight at the most.

Two things make my mind boggle though.
1. Why on PD rather than announcements?
2. Why a closed thread?

The two week trial is the first two weeks of the game. The start of the two-week trial is also the tickstart of Round 10. A public beta has been announced, which will take place during the signup period, before the final Round 10 starts ticking.

Why on PD rather than announcements?

Announcements no longer is an actual forum, it just links straight to the portal. The announcement made there was copied here at the request of MrBrick
