promotion, shory term only about £500 a year pay increase, but thats before overtime, of which there will be loads if i want it, more importantly though, *technically* its management experience as i would be in charge of 2 other people, although i wouldnt really give them any orders, as they have over 10 years each experience in the job so it would probably be a bit redundant

didnt get it another internal candidate was preferred due to experience, even though he is 58 and retiring at sodding 60, and he is a workshy **** (not exaggerating here, he came to us for a week once cos his building was closed, he did a days 'work' then phoned in sick for the rest of the week)
