I have a cold.
My head therefore is 'full o' shit' which is unfortunate. And in the absence of anything 'proper' to sort this out I am sitting here naked from the waist up with Original Mint Source shampoo smeared on my chest 'as if it were Vick'.
Now, I love Vick. Very much. The smell's great but more than that is the colour and even more than that is the memory of childhood it brings back. Though in fairness I think those little ampules you have to break open and put the drops on your pillow or duvet or whatever were better. That's a smell I miss too.
Of course a simple smell can bring back so many memories, like the smell of the floor wax they use with those big industrial floor polishers making me think of my old primary school and the fun times we used to have there.
Well, back then things were simpler, I mean people say 'oh school days are the best days of your life' but you never really believe them until the day its too late at which time you think 'ah shit, you ****badgers were right all along'. But we can't be looking
