Your Starter for 10 : What song was at Number 1 previous to Shayne Wards "Thats My Goal"
Your bonus question : Can you sing the chorus?
*rolleyes*

I rolled my eyes at people not knowing a song which got to number 1 after a concerted internet campaign for about 3 freaking months had somehow passed people on GD by without them recognising the chorus.

Re: Cheer Up Goths
for the record, the JCB song is actually one of the worst attempts at music I've heard in years. It's such unrelenting shite in every way. I mean, at least dribbles of turd such as one has come to expect from, say, Britney Spears, are often fairly well-constructed pop songs. The JCB Song, on the other hand, is just ABSOLUTELY ****ING DREADFUL.

At no point did I actually say it was Good , simply that it got to no.1 through a concerted internet community campaign.
The chorus is mildly amusing when chanted over and over again, but the song itself sounds like rolf harris farting through his kazoo in time with a stylophone rendition of take thats "Everything Changes".
Its that bad.

Not everyone allows their mind to be corrupted by this weeks latest marketing fad. Still, I'm sure the boys in advertising are very grateful for your obsequience and general co-operation with their cultural pollution.

No, and due to my answer to 1, no.
Of course, having read your comments on the song in question, I must answer "no" to part 2 even in my more informed state.

I was referring to SA as "One of those shit corners of the internet we never visit"
Im not sure if youre backing or arguing against that point.

i guess im just saying you're a huge wad of spastic who should probably never post again because you haven't been funny in three or four years and you were barely funny then, and furthermore your present understanding of funny is actually just stupid and pathetic and in conclusion **** you and the horse you rode in on, you fat ****.

I'm not really sure the two are comparable by dear fellow, but I suppose you were trying for some sort of comeback.
But seriously, if you are visiting parts of the internet which are peddling things like this, you might want to rethink your approach to browsing. Not that "having seen something" removes moral responsibility from the equation.

Thanks for coming. Youve been a great audience. Etc etc.
TBH Phang, youve been taking shots for a good 6 months, though rarely with this level of venom. I have no idea what your ****ing problem is, but im guessing it involves too much semen in your colon and too large a cock in your arse.
Vectoring in factors such as youth, alcohol, use of recreational drugs, I still cant find any reason why your bile has to be aimed in this direction.
Other than some misguided raging against the machine. Which others do far better, and with a far greater degree of eloquence.

Re: Cheer Up Goths
ooh, a quick dash of contrived homophobia to reinforce your 'comedy genius' reputation, good call there hotshot.
anyway, my problem is thus: i can't believe someone who makes such universally shit posts, and so many of them, and with the kind of swagger that outside of the internet would get you punched by everyone you met, is tolerated - nay, elevated to mod - in one of the better communities I've encountered. i mean, ****, sunday's been banned how many times now? because that wretched shitehawk is the closest person to you in post quality i can think of.
actually, ive got a better one. you're Jim Davidson in internet form. only difference is, i can choose to ignore jim davidson.

To be fair though Kura you have been posting threads of a sub-flavius level for the last 6 months. In fact it may even be sub-idimmu-at-his-worst.
Once you were a decent poster... But now I see your threads and cringe.
And not the good type of cringe either.

They are on Coronation Street so it must be true.
And MM isn't very cheery either.

I heard there was a female goth on Coronation Street and I must admit I briefly considered watching it to see if she was hot. Then I heard she was 14 or something and I considered watching that little bit more. But I still couldn't be bothered so I can't really comment.

I'm sure we're all willing to accept MM as a "special case". And besides, he's only miserable because he's apparently hopeless and getting cock despite obvious invitations (according to his threads at least).

The fact is Ste, all I look for in the net at the moment is humour and stories that interest me. I bring them to the forum for people to look at. Its not forced down anyones throat, nor are my opinions. I happen to dislike the fact that Phang has a serious stick-up-the-ass (no homosexual innuendo intended), with regards to my posts, which for the most part may raise a few smiles.
Yep, its not to everyones liking, so if theres an opinion my threads are shit, just dont read em. I wont mind, trust me. What annoys the shit out of me is when people read it, and decide to go for some misguided making-a-name-for-themselves rant in my direction.
See the spastic "Arguing on the Internet" image for the obvious retort.
I CBA nowadays to sit and take abuse from people whos only contribution to the community is bile and hatred. They need to take that shit to SA where its not only appreciated but thrived upon.
We have lax rules nowadays, anything goes, nobodys a nazi mod, but for ****s sake, the lack of decorum sometimes goes beyond anything we used to get in a TPE flaming thread.
And i rarely if ever make comics nowadays*. See above for the reasons. For every "That made me laugh" theres a dozen "Youre an unfunny ****, why dont you **** off and hang yourself" from the angry young men of the forum.
*actually , i still make them, just under a different username, unrelated to PA, and the comics themselves arent PA themed, so theres no reason to bring them here.
