I've been using ObjectDock for the last few months but now i'm home and online more i find it gets in the way a bit (at the top) and wondered what else there is to try.

i use yzdock but mine is at the bottom and the taskbar is at the top so i dont have any problems with it popping up when i dont want it too

There's a "new" version of DVDShrink out, 3.2. It has a new "advanced improved high quality" option for ripping (takes about 1 more hour on 3Ghz) which might be worth checking out...

Ok - just to let anyone curious know, I'm using RKLauncher - it's perfect MacOSX dockbar emulation - based on the old YzDock code, it has the minimize effect and basically replaces the taskbar except for the start button which can be replaced using an alternative program script - eg: aston etc.

banned: i know.. i lost my d drive and with it all my songs.. only a few were recovered.. my songlist is way better now \o/

i wanted to change the icons completely but i don't know how so the shortcut names are good enough
