Visiting a place isnt a problem or a bad thing no matter how bad the place.

The whole point of travelling is seeing different things.

Different can mean worse (than you're used to).

As such seeing some really shitty place can make you appreciate "home" more.

As such there's not really any bad place (imo) that you could visit.



Now living in another place is an entirely different matter.



Also if i was going to Africa (and some places in Asia/SA) i would want to be "protected" (disease/villans/etc).

Newcastle is fairly nice as cities go. It's no worse or better than any other city of it's size, really. In fact, it's probably superior in several aspects. (Like it has an underground system, which is rather handy.)

MM & skiddy - I didn't like Newcastle - reminded me of London

skiddy - I listed all those places as I've actually been there (aside from London where I've been living for the last fs. years since I was born) and thought "wtf"

Tokyo is more busier than London - too much emphasis on being wierd - there's this band I remember seeing who only wore diapers yet are REALLY popular....!

Washington I didn't like - prefer Florida - I was lucky to just miss the hurricane by 3 days heh...

Aberdeen I thought was the dogs bollocks. Prefer Edinburgh & Fife much more.

I like Camden though purely for the memories I guess then.
