Actually I prefer Dogma to Chasing Amy (just). My point was with those movies it's clearly not a trilogy.

The first two films are vastly superior to the rest. Clerks obviously being the best.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is OK, although as Sunday notes - rather gimmicky. It's like the worst excesses of forum humour where everyone just becomes so self-referential that genuine humour is dropped from the equation.

Gotta be Star Wars (episodes 4-6), I shall reserve judgement on 1-3, although they do have the major downfall of having Jar Jar Binks in.

Oh, and Kevin Smith films pwn, especially J&SBSB (as per my sig). I hurt from laughing at the end of that film the first time I saw it.

"Star Wars 1.1: The Phantom Edit" is quite good, although they of course haven't gotten Jar Jar out completely.

"El Mariachi" Trilogy

El Mariachi, Desperado and Once upon a time in Mexico.

Although the first film is entirely spanish (for us non spanish speaking that is) its still a must see.

I think there's just a lack of firefox plugins or the fact that windows SP2 is out and there's no glaring flaws yet that have resulted in his diminished presence on the GD forums.

Quentin didnt do #1 either. From Dusk till Dawn may have had him as an actor, but hes definetely not the director.

ah, he did the screenplay though, i knew that he had more to do with it than just acting
however, having seen the sequels, i can safely say that they are unmitigated trash, however, the third film is slightly better than the second

another trilogy i want to say:
tremors

the first one rocked, apparently the second and third are dire but cheesy, so i am on the lookout for them
