Your favourite most recently watched B movie...
Mines would be Starship Troopers 2.
It starts off somewhat serious enough looking and turns into utter cheese including microwave related killing hijinx and the general message of sex will get you killed.
It get's a lotta love from me.

Re: Your favourite most recently watched B movie...
it's an oldie, but I do watch it alot...'Evil Dead 2', also 'Dead/Alive' (aka Braindead) is fantastic as is 'Truth or Dare: A Critical Madness'
Those would be the top 3 on my list of B Movies

I saw "Mulholland Drive" for the first time last week. I'm still thinking about it, which means it must have been good?

I don't know if it was really B movie stuff :P
I did really enjoy it though, it was like twin peaks meets lesbian porn meets memento.

Re: Your favourite most recently watched B movie...
I watched and enjoyed greatly Clerks the other week, although that was probably Z movie when it was made I guess.
I also saw Conan and He-man fairly recently, both of which are fantastically bad.

1 was good , 2 was Superb , as Steve James hammed up his bad ass nigga martial artist role about 100 times more than the first. 3 was shit because Dudikoff wasnt in it, and David Bradley is about as Ninja as Christopher Biggins, and 4 was good solely because Dudikoff came back to show Bradley how shit a Ninja he was, and how a ninja Dudikoff was, before disappearing quietly, Ninja Style!

but..no, just no. American Ninja is one of tackiest films in history (BLACK STAR NINJA). It's bad enough that there are sequels, worse that anyone actually enjoys them on their own merits

No , im sorry. At no point have i ever seen in any American Ninja movie, a Ninja attempt to, or even hint that he can, shoot bullets from his eyes. Perhaps youre thinking of a different American Ninja movie.

Ok , the small pellet charges from the wrist, as Mr Idimmu will tell you, are very Ninja indeed. The laser thing was shit, granted, but it IS a B-Movie ffs.

Starship troopers 2 was bloody awful. In fact it was so bad that I couldn't even be amused by it. The only one I can think of is some god awful vampire flick starring Jon Bon Jovi which was at least mildly amusing. Oh and has anyone seen Queen of the Damned?!

Jon Bon Jovi was EITHER Dusk till Dawn 2 , or John Carpenters Vampires 2. Both were unbelievably poor.
Queen of the Damned was apparently the single worst adaptation of a book in history, and this includes Bonfire of the Vanities.
