would be nice if mails were marked as unread on the mail screen or the mail word which changes red said "X Mail(s)", as it can be hard to tell what mails are new and which aren't...or maybe this is just me?

Normally the mails at the top of your list are the most recent ones - so if there is new mail to be had you'll find it there.

It's easier than the current system. Though I wouldn't use it, because I always delete mail, it would be helpful for those who have an entire list.

People here seem to have something against ease. You could also make new mails bold and old ones normal.
