Deleting history in opera

Deleting it in internet options on control panel dosent work, suggestions?

PS. yes theres filth, but i'm just sick of 100 urls dropping every time i type an address in rather than hiding 'evidence'.

I had this problem with windows... getting rid of the history once. in the end I had to manually hunt down the history file, and replace it with a copy of a clean file that I had taken from a fresh account I had set up for the purpose. I dunno if this is at all applicable to your situation, as my problem was with IE, but it might be something to think about.

It's in the ****ing properties, under "History and cache" strangely enough

"Internet options" is really "internet explorer and outlook (express) settings" and has nothing to do with other programs.
