The effects of a group of posters whose sole purpose in life is to shit on anything that gets posted, provide constantly negative and bitchy feedback on every post and every user, and generally attempt to keep alive the rapidly dying "Get off meh Intarweb" mentality.

Thus , id like your nominations please for individuals who fall into this category, and who can, from this moment on, be referred to as "The Negatories".

Why is it neccessary for people to always give a saccharin sweet answer regardless of their feelings? If someone feels negative about someone's situation shouldn't they be as free to express as someone who feels positive about someone's situation?

In deriding and attacking the 'negatories' as you have stereotyped them is to attack free speech itself.

Why should everyone post in a certain behaviour that deludes from the reality of thought and mood that we all experience.

Vindictiveness sure go ahead but you'll find most negatory reactions are usually well reasoned (unless you are qdeathstar or universalhonour etc) even people you would classify as non negatory could easily be classed as negatory.

I could easily add RoadRunner, Phang, Leshy, LHC, JonnyBGood to the negatory lists as they have all came out and been very negatory towards users threads or posts irrelevant of what they have had to contribute because of their user name... Myself, Zar etc included.

I think this is a really silly thread kura that's going to dig up more bad stuff than fix.

You'll just remind people who have gotten over things of stupid stupid grudges that will be inflamed in this thread and inevitably result in someone getting banned and there being more negatories over the user getting banned resulting in defeating WHATEVER you are desperately trying to achieve with this thread.

Incorrect. I'm only negative towards people when they post shit posts, which in your case has been relatively frequently the case. I have also made positive remarks about your posts when they were good.

At no point has your username been a deciding factor about whether I should complain about one of your posts, or whether to praise it.

Id like to remind people that i have not nominated anyone, theres no Mod "Witch Hunt" (comedy ++, youre assuming any of us can be arsed to do such a thing), and that "The Negatories" are people who simply dont have a good thing to say about anyone at any time on any thread. Im not suggesting the boards need to be saccharin sweet, im saying that people who just want to say "Youre shit and here why" need to prove why theyre not shit and we should listen to a single word they have to say without dismissing them as "Complete Twats".

It's not necessary to give a saccharin sweet response every time. Most of the time, it's not necessary to give any response. But if it's a thread about someone getting married, or a relative dying, what exactly is the point of posting something semi-abusive just to get a reaction? Kura isnt complaining about people being negative, Kura is complaining about people being CONSTANTLY NEGATIVE. People whos sole purpose in life appears to be to shit on anything that moves in a never ending quest to prove they own "Teh Intarweb". People who tried (and probably failed) to make it on SA or some other "In" website.

Everyone here had dropped their required level of shit on someone here, there and everywhere at some point, its just that the majority didnt suddenly turn round and go "You know what, i really ****ing enjoy slaughtering everyone and everything. Welcome to the world of wandering into a conversation, assuming far too ****ing much, and then making a random stupid statement.

This isnt about any abuse I take, or anyone specific takes. Its about the level of abuse being given out by certain individuals "Just because they can". Its about people acting the twat "Just because they can". Its about the fact a community is built on people getting on, having a laugh, knowing each other, and yeh, a bit of good natured banter is great, but when it goes too far, and it starts getting into the realms where its so unpleasant you have to ask "Why do we let people like this in here", then someone has to turn around and say "Youre out of order". Otherwise this place ends up like so many other "Dead" net communities.
