Come and share the excitement
Somewhere in this thread i will reach the 2000 post mark (yet a-****in-gain).
It's gonna be pure 'party time'.
Unless of course this is too RP for GD.

Re: Come and share the excitement
Thanks Parra.
It's always a tough job being the first person to turn up to a party which you aren't sure is going to be a success but you think "well i had nothing else to do anyway so why not turn up" so you turn up and it's only when you're there shuffling about on your own you start to sweat and feel clamy and such like as you realise NO-ONE else might turn up and how would you get out of that situation with you not wanting to appear to be too rude and leave too early and if you DO leave early then later EVERYONE turns up and there's a great party and you weren't there and you missed it then you're gonna feel pretty shitty but then you think that maybe there wasn't really gonna be a party and this single guy just invited you around with the promise of a party when he intended all along for it to be just the two of you and then you worry that he had plenty of opportunity to spike your drink and that you don't want to be RAPED.

Re: Come and share the excitement
I think whatever you say for post 2000 should be printed on t-shirts and that men who were not here to see it should hold their manhood cheap etc
no pressure on saying something witty or profound though...

Re: Come and share the excitement
1-X was my 2000th post good enough for you?
Did it live up to your expectations?
Was the emotion RAW enough for you*?

Lars and Eric
Eric has been in the internet and computer business for 25 years and is finally sick of the stress. He sells his company and buys 50 acres of land outside of Placerville as far from humanity as possible. Eric sees the postman once a week and gets groceries once a month. Otherwise it's total peace and quiet. No computers. No internet. No telephone calls.
After six months or so of almost total isolation, he's finishing dinner when someone knocks on his door. He opens it and there is a big, bearded man standing there.
"Name's Lars... Your neighbor from four miles away...Having a party Saturday... thought you'd like to come."
"Great," says Eric, "after six months out here I'm ready to meet some local folks. Thank you."
As Lars is leaving he stops, "Gotta warn you there's gonna be some drinkin'."
"Not a problem... after 25 years in the computer business, I can drink with the best of 'em."
Again, as he starts to leave Lars stops. "More 'n' likely gonna be some fightin' too."
Eric says, "Well, I get along with people. I'll be there. Thanks again."
Once again Lars turns from the door. "I've seen some wild sex at these parties, too."
"Now that's not a problem" says Eric, "I've been all alone for six months! I'll definitely be there ... by the way, what should I wear?"
Lars stops in the door again and says, "Whatever you want, just gonna be the two of us."
