[Football] Arsenal sign new sponsorship deal with Israeli Tourist Board
I gotta ask this, how the hell do you promote Israel as a tourist destination when all your neighbours want to kill you and your nation is beset by suicide bombers?
Oh, and are they going to do This to ensure the safety of their advertising boards?

You've missed the obvious angle that they'll also be sponsored by UAE.

Actually , the BBC news article does specify that Arsenal spoke to Emirated Airlines officials before agreeing the deal, due to the fact that UAE does not recognise the state of Israel.

Or nearly neutral enough in my viewpoints.

to be fair to kura I was very glad he didn't post a link. It wasn't really necessary and the title says all you need to know.
I have no interest in this forum becoming a sub set of the bbc website

I didnt post the link as everyone here reads the BBC news website, and I post enough BBC links in here.
Additionally, this allows me to avoid the half a dozen "Oh , another BBC News link" brigade members from posting in this thread.

Who here will define Arsenal's next stadium by the Emirates name instead of Ashburton Grove? I know which one I will.

Sky et al will refer to it by "The Emirates", so it may well enter popular parlance.

We'll all call it the Emirates Stadium within a year of Arsenal moving in there.

Now the Spurs fans can use anti-semetic jokes at Arsenal since it always has been the other way around.
