It doesnt make sense if I am researching Plants that that research gets put towards Warp Cores. I think if you are cov opping that res points should go towards the branch being research by the hacked planet. Just for a more realistic effect. Yeah it makes it more difficult but it should be done this way.
The wrong premisse is that it should be realistic. But if it is to add to the topic, that suggestion would be only viable if there was a way to see what research a planet is doing.
