What should we do to improve the community as players, what do you think should be our agenda to help the new players, to help this community to grow faster and bigger.
Please post only serious thread and discuss them without trolling, and without flaming, the goal is to raise some question and to discuss them and see if we can do anything in our power to improve things.
Please dont post suggestion to the game itself, there is a suggestion forum,

Anyone having idea of what event exactly such as w00fage?,

i want to run a big trivia with Planetarion Question and give away credits on each session.

More ideas are highly appreciated.

Do your best to make sure every player playing is in an alliance, wether a 1337 alliance or a n00b allie, what ever it takes to fill up the alliances so each allie has 100 members, don't know how u gonna do it but theres a challenge for you

maybe it would be better (to begin with) to establish a way of maintaining more active players.. especially as rounds go on, activity drops off at an alarming rate (when you go to ask defence and find nobody there). there is not much point in alliances with inactive players just for the sake of it -- it would just increase the gap between the good and the .. rest.. even more.

I would say make the game interesting from the start and give a much longer protection time so the new players have time to REALLY learn the game - I would suggest that trade and diploacy could make the game more interesting for the first few weeks - then have some kind of big count down to when attacks will begin (get the new players antiscipating the attacks rather than dreading being attacked).

Also I would strengthen cluster alliances and give bonuses to clusters that bring on new players

Also I would give the new players (and this could be abused) the control over when they are considered a new player OR a fullyblooded PA player - new players would be colour red in the game and to attack new players continuously would result in worse results or punishment of some kind. Obviously to be coloured in this way would mean they would have a slight handicap too - BUT i'm sure most new players while finding their feet would appreciate this

make the game free. that will spiff up the community. Money is an issue, lets be honest. And also, most of the players are just down right tired of each other. I mean you know everyone. We need new faces. Look how much of a big deal that bigd dude wrung up. Now that was 1 dude. (i think he is inactive or something now). Just image 1000 new players. It's not a lot to ask. The people here now you don't need to spiff up. You are just helping us, one of us will win this contest. What we need is new faces. No new faces? Then drop whatever effort you are putting into saving people who really don't care. Good or bad, people here will play PA. Now tell that to a guy playing CS or EVE or Rubmyballs. Its not the community you need to convince.

while new players is the key to the communitys growth, the bonding of the existing community will only make Planetarion look more inviting for new players.
