I got aquestion which i hope some1 can answer for me.
1. Will Planetarion Round 10 be at TG?
Im also wondering, who is planning on going to TG( in Norway),
April 16th-April 20th in vikingskipet, Hamar. Post here if ur planning on going ;D

well there would b summ kinda r10 thing at i15, and afaik i15 happen be4 TG so...
but any kind of p.a taking place at TG is GOOD, but ofc wud b best with a lil r10 prewiev  )

The news you have been waiting for is finally here! The Gathering 2003 will
be held at the Vikingship Arena in Hamar, Norway. KANDU has signed a 3-year contract for TG2003, TG2004 and TG2005 with the Vikingship.
Ticketsales will open Wednesday 12th of February 2003 at 19:00.
Ticketprice will be 530,- + ticketfees at PTN.

TG holds nothing to i15 ffs. TG = crap. Can you believe a LAN gaming thing WITHOUT ALCOHOL?? Last I heard, TG was non-alcoholic, and that is blatantly wrong. Only reason I am going to i15 is for the drinking bits (I am not taking a computer)

Eh... seriously?Drinking you should do at a pub, not at a LANparty.
Though gaming and alcohol might be a good mix at the i-series, it's not with 5k+ competitors like at TG.
There's a time for drinking, and there's a time for some serious LAN'ing. And only one of them during TG.

I'll go, unless there is a family gathering at geilo.
What's the point of drinking at a LAN anyways? The chances of getting laid are close to zero, and if you do you'll prolly regret it afterwards (few nice-looking females that attend to LAN-parties, unless you are really lucky and gotten assraped by a bunch of 40 year old males - which there usually is a lot of at lan-parties).
At a LAN you are supposed to play with your computer, that is kind of hard after you have consumed an unhealthy volume of alcohol. In conclusion: tg's alcohol policy is great.

but, lan should abselutley contain a bit alkohol.. i can imagine five thousand drunken nerds, playing cs with eachother.. that would be so cool.. neeh, but seriusly - alkohol is good for gaming, make you feel a bit less nerdy.. wich is a good thing for loads of us..

Sorry about the misinformation about the seat numbers, it IS 5500 this year.
And I have been to TG, and I have been to the I-events.
The two events are very different, and so are the people who go there and the attitude.
TG is so much larger, its a completely different scale, and personally, I prefer TG.

mohahah, im REALLY looking forward to this years TG and PA compo...
Nothing is better than playing PA with the ability to meet your galm8`s ( and your enemys ), organize meetings in RL and discuss tactics for the next mission
Backstabbing is the keyword in fastPA, your allies can change sides and make an suprise party at your planet, everything happen so fast and thats a challenge.
I hope as many PA addicts as possible can get a ticket to one of the largest LAN-party`s in the world, lets have some fun, drinking coke, eat some pizza/burgers and play HARDCORE PA!!!
