Faking RAM Levels
I have a music program that I would like to install on my PC but it won't allow me because I don't have enough RAM.

Is there a method/program I can utilise to trick the program into allowing me to install it?

not that im aware of no. just how much ram is it requiring? ( you must have a tiny amount if it complains about it )

ram is cheap nowadays anyway, upgrade

i upgraded the ram in my laptop easily enough.
theres usually a seperate panel which allows access to the ram ports

Or just buy a whole new laptop.

The only way I can think of tricking it is is some resedit thing or by changing reference to virtual memory but this would be hard and impractical to do.

The fact that there are modern programs out there, especially music programs, that aren't games but do check how much memory you have availble is appalling...

That program is trying to tell you it needs MORE then 256mb of FREE ram... I'd suggest you dunk it and get something that can get by with a decent amount.
