A music question.
If you could only listen to one of the two again, would you listen to British or American music and why?

Id have to stick with my recent "blighty rocks " trend of late and say Britain, if you think of all the best bands of all time. Even of late, theres really no one from america as good as the founders of britpop

HA!!!
Get yourself a MP3 CD player, then you don't have to choose what album you take along, you just fill it with all good songs/albums and choose the song/album that matches your mood.
Ever since I got my RIO-VOLT I never want to go back to an ordinary discman anymore!

I agree, especially they are cheap nowadays. And they use about 1 millionth of the battery power of a normal CD player too.

It would be tough either way, but American music I suspect. For me they have a higher number of bands I consider good. Britan has a higher proportion of good bands "per capita" though, but that doesn't really matter in a question of this kind.
It'd be a realy pity to have to eschew the Beatles, Blur, Radiohead, Billy Bragg, etc tho.

You are like my mother... She has a CD of Shanaia Twain (or something like that) on repeat for nearly two years now in the car. I've given her new CD's, but she doesn't put them on... it's always the same damn CD.
I don't understand how people can listen to the same songs day in day out (let alone for two years). Aren't you growing tired of them after you've heard them 10 times in short order?
In terms of shanaia Twain, I get sick even if I hear a single song of her.

I suppose I would choose British, if forced for a choice between the two.

No one in America makes real music.
Tbh, you'd be best off with something German.

If I chose American, there'd be no more listening to The Clash.
No challenge really.

Let's see;
In my record collection I know that there are substantially more records by American musicians than British.
If I apply some logic now the outcome is:
American music.

American, since there's more good music coming out from there, but then again, there's also a lot more **** music coming from there.
You can still listen to music from other countires, rite?

Not a factor, its just a general guaging between britain/america.
Id choose britain because of blur, oasis, the manics, the beatles, queen etc, though it would hurt to not have the eagles, billy joel, greenday etc.
But when you weigh it up it has to be britain. No more justin, no more linkin park, evanescence, limp bizkit, a hell of a lot less ****ty black music (rnb rap hip hop GOODBYE) etc.
Its worth putting up with the sugababes for
