Short men: psychologically defective?
Is it just me, or do lots of shorter men have problems? They principally have an anger problem. They also seem to share this problem with fat people and very ugly women.
Just look at Hitler, Napoleon, and fantasy dwarves.
Is it any surprise that dwarves in fantasy settings are traditionally depicted as being short tempered thugs with drinking problems?
A more latter-day example would be Kurahima.

Think of it this way, at least by the virtue of being a short-arse, you're not as noticeable, thus receive less of the crap you would if you were a normal 6 foot.

On the contrary, it's because of being short that you are likely to receive more crap. Think of it this way, being shorter is often seen as inferrior because people assert it with being weak and less well built. Bigger animals like to dominate smaller animals, so the bias introduces more hassle for the shorter person.
