was just reading that thread abotu php/mysql books and it got me thinking about gettign some new books..

but my question to you guys is:

That discrete maths books is one of the best I've seen in computing terms - I had a look at several in the library here at uni before I went and bought one. Plenty of helpful examples + worked solutions for when you don't quite follow something, and it's very 'readable'.
