Quicktime player/plugin
How the hell can I get this annoying thing out of my system tray? I have disabled it's automatic starup a dozen times in the registry but every time I play a movie from the internet (quicktime movie) it's back in my tray the next time I start up.
I can live with a few thingies in my systray but I don't want random crap in it I only use very rarely!

Only half a solution really, I have msconfig to edit the startup items anyway...
Anyway, I just want it to cut the crap, not re-edit the startup registry every time it plays something.

You misunderstood what it does.

Every time something registers something to run at boot up, that pops up a box saying "do you want this to happen", you click no, it doesnt happen. Startup Control Panel is the other one, where you have to go edit what happens at startup.

I took a VERY GOOD look at it, but nothing
Instead, I just uninstalled it for the heck of it. I wonder how long I can last without it
MT, I'll see if I can do something with the proggy you mentioned.
