Hooking up Case and Power fans to mobo
How the hell do i do this??

the psu doesnt have any kind of connection to do it and as far as i can see every fan in the case just has a power lead. there is no possible way of connecting them to the mobo

mobo = Asus Asn8x deluxe...

That would be A7N8X Deluxe...

The mobo has a connector for the CPU fan, as most do.

From the manual (available on the asus site) I gather that:

The mobo has a power connector for a case fan. Maybe the case fan that came with your case does not have the correct type of power lead connector. Case fans are not that expensive, get one that has the right connector, make sure it does not use more power than the mobo spec says the connector supplies.

The mobo has a power connector for a power fan. Not sure what this is for - maybe some PSUs come with an external connector for the fan? Never heard of it though.

If you're mobo doesnt have any extra fan headers you can always get a molex -> fan 3/4pin adaptor so you can get power straight from the psu.

best to get fans that have molex connectors, then you can jsut daisy chain around your computer from the psu (thats how mine is rigged anyways, works fine)

Some PSU's connect just the RPM monitor to the power fan header.

JJ, surely your case fans are 3 pin? If they are then there's going to be at least one connector on the board. Don't hook anything too powerful up to them - they're quite easy to overload.
