Good Weekend/ Bad Weekend
I am about to disguise a moaning bitch about my life by appearing to promote discussion on whether the users of this board had a good or a bad weekend.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
What i planned for my weekend:
Seriously considering getting in touch with "that girl" so i could spend some "quality time" for quite some time.
What really happened:
My parents call me on Friday afternoon. Apparantly the modifications to the flat (i live in a flat in Glasgow that my parents own) are going to actually happen (waaaaaaaaay contrary to what they have been saying for the last God knows how long). The work is due to start on Monday. Que spending 2 days trying to empty MY ENTIRE ****ING FLAT OF ALL MY POSSESSIONS. And for those people who think this is nothing i challenge thee to empty your quarters of everything within 2 days (this includes furniture etc etc etc).
Basically ive had 9 hours sleep in the last 3 days and worked my ****ing ass off (against my religious belief). I now have to ****ing live at home ("apparantly") for the next 3 weeks (and i depsise my parents). My muscles ache (from lifting heavy items of furniture all weekend) and im tired. Not a good couple of days. Infact the worst weekend i can ever rememebr.
[/bitch]

What I planned for my weekend:
Playing 20 hours of poker on friday night. Sleeping through saturday and missing work. Going out on saturday night. Spending all day in my dressing gown on sunday.
What I actually did for my weekend:
As above minus going out due to the fact I overslept and it was 8:30 when I woke up and I hadn't had any dinner.
PS Point and laugh at dace!

Weekend started alright - ended infinitely more badly than I could have expected. Nuff said.

I drank too much, became a member of a casino, lost twenty quid on a black jack table, saw some scantily clad women who profession was to take off their clothes for money, was propositioned by a prostitute, flew home and read half a Bertrand Russell's book.

Go to a friend's barbeque saturday night,
Watch some football (americano) sunday
What i did this weekend:
Bought a car saturday morning, spent all saturday evening trying to get it to start (couldn't get to the bbq)
Watched 'fox news' and posted on an online forum sunday afternoon because apparently they've decided not to have any games on sundays (oh and I finished the GEB )

Assuming they don't change their minds and I actually get Saturday off, my plan pretty much revolves around staying in bed all day.

Planned
Going out on friday in Amsterdam then getting a train back at 0630 to work at 1230 and then getting home, going out and working again at 1230 the next day, missing the 'sleep factor' a bit for a weekend.
What happened
Got completely drunk in Amsterdam, crashed on a couch, got the 0730 train, called work and said 'with this weather is it necesarry for me to come?' didn't have to, slept for 3 hours, then cleaned the roof of our house by climbing on it and cleaning all the woodwork, then had dinner, chatted a bit and went to bed at 2100 to wake up at 1050 to eat, pick up my mate and go to work at 1230 got off at 2000, got to a mate, watched 'how to lose a guy in 10 days' got home, went to bed.
Nothing bad actually, both was good fun, clearly needed the sleep, planning of me was a bit adventurous.

Oh...ok then
How about a night long bout of mad passionate love making that imbeds the headboard in the wall and scares the neighbours?

No I have not bought myself a saddlebag and I don't plan to
Mark has not returned the CDs to me yet. I have stopped asking him about it, instead I have conversations with myself about it on irc because I already know what the answer will be.

Maybe a bandana then?
I thought you were always talking to yourself when it comes to that subject?
