If it were me who posed the original thought, I would say currently you can't attack members of your own alliance, so if they're in a galaxy you're targetting, it gives it away if they're not attacked. However if you could fake them, then it would be less suspicious, plus might draw defence away from other planets in target galaxy.

As much as i see your point i dont think its a good idea. As to be honest this can be more negative then possative.

I kind of like the tactics this can add, but something tells me there is going to be some form of horrible abuse.
