Nhl 2002
I just broke this game out again after neglecting it for a few years - I'd never realised how much more entertaining it is than current NHL games, which have gone down the "realism" road. 2002 is a proper arcade game with super fast passes and stuff which doesn't feel so sluggish as the newer, more "real" ones.
Also, the commentry is teh win.
"Wow Jim, that pass was incredible!"
"Then don't eat it."
"I said... oh forget it."

Hella yeah!

'98 and '00 were the best imo, but '04 did provide me with alot of enjoyment. While its possibly my favourite type of game, you get bored after playing about 40 matches

I was actually playing my copy of '03 the other day, I wish I still had the oldies.

at0mic.c0w: I doubt it, XP wouldn't run sim city 2000 or championship manager for me, but I hope it works for you

Is 04 any good then? 03 put me off so much I didn't even try it. If it doesn't have the nice fast pace of 02 i'm not interested.

'04 is better than '03, I'm guessing it will be alot like planetarion - It's getting better as time goes on, but will never be the same as before

Although, I have strong intentions of '05
