Yes i want to know what to do. Someone please suggest what they like to RP about and I will try to make a cool new thread about it. Yes i am a newbie, that is why i am asking for ideas. Since i have no life of my own and i check to see whether you ppl respond to my replys on threads every 5 minutes, i think i would make a half-way decent DM.

and besides... creating a thread about something we claim to like is no guarantee for many joiners and stayers. best to create a thread with something you know enough about, and think you can transfer into a decent and interesting story, in which RPers can be dropped, and would have effect.

I remember various attempts to create threads where the setting was decided by the community (one of which was headed by myself and PK). All were failures.

Creating threads suck, everyone will misquote what you say, do something highly improbable and totally wrong, then leave you to loop the story back round usually involving a complex helix of holes and redrafts. If you do take a stab at DMing, it's best to spell it out for you DM-ees, but not to the length required... because then they skim read, ignore the important parts and you're back on the rollercoaster defined above... Yeah, screw it, listen to Fluff.

btw you should just create something that sounds cool and is preferrably intelligent then post the story or whatever it is and see if people like it then run with it
