I expect we'll see some new alliances emerge in the next few weeks, which could surprise many people.
I doubt we can predict what will happen just yet.
If I had some faith in the creators, I'd hope they'd get another alliance meeting together, to get HCs to promise to go solo. I doubt that'll happen though.
