Downtime

"On Monday evening the Planetarion server went down, so too did the jolt web site. This is not the fault of Jolt or Planetarion. We took steps to get the game back up, however it was out of our hands - all has been done to get the Portal and Forums up. The ticker is currently down. We will review the situation on Tuesday at noon (GMT). A roll back is doubtful at this time, however everything will be taking into consideration at the review session. We hope you can enjoy the night off and get some well earnt sleep.

The credits bought for the speedround on Saturday 7th August that was unfortunately cancelled should all have been refunded."

From the MOTD:

"There have been no ticks since 17.00 GMT yesterday due to network problems with Nildram (Hosting), and some complications afterwards in regards to that event (lack of remote access to the servers).
There was nothing we could do, as we had no more access than any of you did meanwhile.
Ticks resume at 14.00 GMT today
Every planet received 1.000.000 of each resource as compensation for the lack of ticks."

Hopefully with these problems behind us we can get on with round 12 development and preparing the speed game server. The will be further news on these in the near future.

Unfortunately, the emergency downtime planned for 1.15-1.30am GMT this morning did not go as planned. When the servers eventually went down just before 2am (with the 2am tick NOT happening), they stayed down for almost 50 minutes. When the server turned back on, an issue with a corrupt table turned up allowing no one to login properly.
Because of this, the game will be down until 12:00pm GMT on Sunday 12th, to allow us to fix the problem and everyone to sort out their planets before ticks start up again. The last tick was at 1am, and the next tick will occur at 12:00pm. There will be no extra ticks on the last day.
In summary:
-Last tick @ 1am GMT
-Game will be fixed by 12pm GMT
-Ticks will restart at 12pm GMT
