I know of plenty of people without A-level maths at cambridge, I just don't interact with them much.

i and j are used interchangeably but nowadays j is used more when teaching this rubbish. And quite rightly i and j are used in mechanics with vectors.

I do english boogster. I love english, hate maths and neutral with science. Yet I do them all .

It is? I was certainly taught with i, and that was only 3 years ago.
