Unit Scan / Fleet Scan question
Just a quick one, are fleet scans distorted a little or are the fully exact?
A fleet scanned my inc says hes attacking with 6k beetle 500 mosqs
but when i unit scan him it say he only has 4k beetle 300 mosqs (same tick)
Ho can that be possible, is it a bug or am I missing something and deserve slaps!!

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmm didint think the uni scan cud be THAt much off,... and i thought the fleet scan was spot on,..... cus the numbers usually add up,... X amount incomming, and X amount in the fleet scan (cept when u have xan ships in there),.. so errmm,.. i dunno

both unit and fleet scan unit counts can be off from -20% till +20% if i am not mistaken

like i said.... there is nothing wrong with it....
Both scans have interference so can't be correct a 100%, as they can either show more or less units then the actual count of the planet, best thing would be to look at the number of ships incs and render the scan you made from it to match the number of incs you actually have (using the average of the 2 scans you made maybe).

fleet scans are accurate afaik. did you unit scan him before he launched?

it doesn't really matter... fleet scans still show what the planet in question sent in type of ships, it's a nice indication of the amount of each ship sent, enough to be handled for defence atleast.

remember though.. fleet scans won't reveal Xan ships, on either Zik or Xan planets

It's pretty easy to work out if a zik has sent xand frigates or not, to be honest...

But sneaking in a bunch of xand FI can be a bitch
Fair enough, it's the enemy's fault if they don't realise there's 10k~ ships missing from the scan and don't take into account it could be vsh and then send arrows in def.
