Html email link

If I wanted to link and email addy on a site, i'd put:
<a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a>

But how would I put up that link so when someone clicked it a set subject would come up automaticly?

A much more reliable way of doing it is to use a scripting language (PHP, Perl, even ASP) and make a form mailer, if you've got the time, knowhow, and relevant services installed at your webhost.

That way, you're not relying on the user to have their system setup so that the mailto link opens the email program they use.
