Friday Caption Contest : 17/12/04
Yes , its been a strong news week. Blunkett has resigned (but weve done him) , Yushchenko has been announced as having been poisoned by Agent X (but hes not really funny) , and some guy called Steve won the X-Factor (which none of us watch). So this weeks story comes from the world of showbusiness.
With the announcement today that Lisa Marie Presley has decided to sell the rights to the name "Elvis Presley" for a cool $100 million , but retains ownership of Graceland and all its posessions. I wonder what Daddy would think, and more importantly, what Mummy, who spent 25 years building up this fortune for her darling daughter. In fact , why dont you tell me exactly what Mum and Dad were thinking GD.
Have Fun.

Nothing was too much trouble for Dace when he got the urge; even time travel and extensive facial surgery.

CONTROVERSIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
Due to the fact we have a very limited number of entries this week, and we dont have 5 funny enough to go to a poll, this weeks Caption Contest will be cancelled if entries are not received by 23:59GMT 21/12/04.
Regards
The Management

I remind the right honorable gentleman that every week i ask people to PM me their choice of picture for the contest and almost every week you fail me.
If you dont like the picture choice its because you were too ****ing lazy to choose your own.

because there are so many lazy buggers on this forum that eventually theyd bugger off one week without giving me a pic, and id be forced to choose the pic again.
The whole idea of this was to get GD to pick the pictures THEY wanted to caption, not for me to provide a random one each week.

Because Weeks the readership here is not solely British, so if i choose UK based captions i get complaints from the non brits.
Hence why Elvis was chosen this week and not Blunkett.
