No Round 10 News for over a month and a half

If you want us to stay interested, and eventually pay for the new game, at least give us an update now and then. While the PA hard-core players are living off rumours and leaks, I wonder how many times the causal player will keep on going to the portal and finding nothing new before giving up on PA.
If it's too much trouble to write updates, why not simply encourage the beta testers to tell the rest of us about round 10 on the forums?
Every time the tiny minority on people in the beta get a huge strategic and tactical advantage over the rest of us, and the big alliances get their leaks, leaving the casual players behind. With PA being totally overhauled, this problem will clearly much worse this round. Letting the rest of us talk about what is happening would solve both the above problems.

for some reason pa crew doesnt realise the longer they delay
r10 the less players will stick around , and with little to no
news , and wheres the open beta promised ,r10 future is looking
grim.

Screenshots would be a great motivation for the players, so would definitive news on what we can expect in R10, and more importantly, when we can expect it.
The time in between rounds has always been the main point for players to quit, this is shown by the amount of "Goodbye friends and PA" threads we see around the boards now. This will keep happening unless PA Team does something about it. Which they probably won't.

let me tell ya. Being in the beta, a screenshot won't make you all happy it will look pretty much the same. And most if not all changes have already been announced. You just have to stick it out for the public beta.

A-level & GCSE results out soon too i fink. Then uni or school in September. Be typical if we gotta wait till September when lotta people too busy.I didn't play R9 as had tests,but round ended early and tests where when 9.5 was bein played :S Guessin a number of other people had the same situation
I dunno what the situation is with other country's. Think some schools in other places started in Aug :S
Possible solution would be a free speed round soon open to all with the R10 specs,or at least somehow similar,would give the rest of us a idea of specs and strategy.Would releive some of the worry about how late its gonna be when we see how much is being changed

A PA Team member entirely dodging a very valid question from a number of paying customers. Maybe the likes of Spinner and Fudge neglected to mention that as soon as you/they started taking our money in order to play this game, that you made an obligitory agreement with the customers to keep us informed and up-to-date on goings on within the game - Such as wtf we're gonna get some news.

It's annoying to check everyday and there is no update and not the slightest hint for what's gonna happen and when". I must say I am somewhat surprised of how casual the PA team treat their customers. I dont think they realise this.. and that is both strange and scary. R they so lacking in the "service and support" department that they dont understand this?
And it dosent make matters better when some "pseudo halfwit" with a connection to the PA team speak on behalf of the team. It's unproffesional... and sad...
Amazed by the lack of long time strategy and customer support. Get proffesional help guys, and get it fast.......

I agree with the 2 previous posts entirely. PA Team needs to seriously consider how they intend on keeping the player base it has, let alone expand on it. Between rounds always is a popular time for people to quit Planetarion, i've seen a few friends do it already, I'm sure there are more to come. Spinner has been promising us some miraculous revival of Planetarion since Round 9, and what do we have as proof? A couple of posts from almost 2 months ago with a bit of sketchy information.
With regards to King posting 'on behalf' of PA Team, a certain phrase springs to mind: Never send a boy to do a man's work.

Sadly, nothing out of the ordinary as far as marketing goes here. I would have thought and hoped that being taken over by Jolt would improve the situation, but the opposite seems to have happened. If possible, there's even less information available to the players then there was before previous rounds. At least then you knew that while stats might change, the workings of the game would remain the same. However, since it was announced that the game would get a major overhaul, not even that little bit of security remains. How they ever intend to keep all their customers is beyond me.
Learning from past mistakes is obviously something they haven't done, and if you ask me, aren't able to. It's just a bloody shame, it could be a great game, but you're throwing it away guys.

When Jolt first took over PA I thought it a good idea that they bring along as many of the original creators as possible so as to keep the continuity of the game. Unfortunate that the unprofessionalism came long as well. I payed for round 10, and now I wonder if they may abscound with my money simply because I've no new information about round 10 (Like Fifth Season AS did). I am not a beta tester. So in fact I've no idea if they are really doing betas or how that is progressing. But I wonder why, if they knew they were not close to rolling out round ten did they end 9.5? Once again thier lack of forsight and professionalism shows through. These long pauses between games without info of any kind are killers. Its long past the time for Spinners quirky little games and charades about the next round. Now we're paying customers with every right to know what we're buying or in my case prepaid for.
Spinner ya grand wank, wake up smell the coffee.......
GET A Public Relations TEAM together and give us regular updates.
Planetarion has shrunk to a very small size already (not withstanding the increase for the 9.5 multifest), and frankly all your doing now is nailing in the final nails in the coffin by playing cute and withholding information about the coming round.
Lets get on with it now shall we?

There will apparently be a Public Betatest open to everyone next week, this should serve 2 purposes: to give an idea of the new rules of R10 and to keep busy some people who get bored in their lives between 2 PA rounds

all the advertising in the world will not save this game if the current and future player base is not kept fully informed of developments, might i suggest that u employ someone to liase with the players thru the forums because it is obvious that this is needed if any hope of increaseing the player base rely's on keeping them informed .
while this might sound like stateing the obvious it still needs to be said .
