Orchestral rock/metal suggestions
Ok, the deal goes thusly:
I need a suitably dramatic bit of orchestral metal type stuff to go with a video myself and some friends are editing. Think nightwish-ish but instrumental (or large sections with no vocals).
Any suggestions?
[edit]
For those Nightwish fans out there, I've raided my brother's collection and found that the start of Ghost Love Score on the Once album is the sort of thing I'm talking about.
Kthnxbye.

Tubular Bells 2 kinda does it.

Re: Orchestral rock/metal suggestions
You might want to consider downloading some Therion stuff but it might be a bit too bombastic for the purpose you have in mind.

Apocalyptica does covers, yes, and they're okish. However, the music they write themself is brilliant.
If Nightwish is somewhat close to what you want, then you could try Within Temptation. Dreadful, both bands, but I guess you have to make sacrifices to find the suited music.

Get Rising by Rainbow. It's an old album (1977 I think) but there should be at least 2 tracks that will suit your purposes
