Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
brilliant site... quite depressing though.
theres a dissection of "a christmas carol" further down the page. Which condemns it for (among other things) picking on the rich, bob cratchits lack of foresight, and unrealisticness . yes, it sees the lack of empirical evidence for the existence of ghosts as a flaw in the book.
im gonna stop reading it all now, the rage is building up inside me.

Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
just the general ultra conservative views.
the support of most things bush does. especially the war on terror, in one article he supports attacking all "axis of evil" countries and a few more immediately.
libertarian outlook
absolute support of israel
complete lack of regard for any human life not in america
and that christmas carol thing pissed me off too.
as a plus, at least hes an atheist. But then i suppose he doesn't even have the excuse of religion for his nasty nasty views.

Dear Santa,
Many thanks for the belated Christmas present. I understand that it must have been tough for you and I can only offer my undying gratitude for this marvel of literary magnificence now collected in one area for my perusal.
Yors sincerely,
Jonny B. Goode

More talk of powerful interests and fairness, does that mean he's going to steal more money from us? Oh no, he's got names of common folk, some baby factory who has a minimum wage job, so sad. He thinks someone who makes $28,000 a year with four kids is middle class? Universal healthcare to improve healthcare? Perhaps he should go to Canada, Britain, France, Scandanavia to see the long lines and fleeing doctors (fleeing to America). What an unadulterated communist this man is. And the dopey crowds lap it up, oh yes, Democracy is a good thing, letting all the poor bums vote.

I think the best bit is when he criticises Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol (a fictional work) for not being fact-based and then goes on to criticise the makers of the Reagans and congratulate CBS for cancelling it despite the fact every single word on that show was corroborated well before filming. He's my favourite human being in the whole wide world <3

Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
well, although find the link interesting and for the most part true, the way it was written made it come off like some asshole who was sour about life wrote it.. lets stick to classical persuasion..
In anycase, im glad bush is president
Afganistan, Iraq, Al-Queda, Whats next?
One, one one by one and were on to the next one.
Bush is going to change the world, im just not sure in which way.
I dont agree with his cloning issues/support of isreal.. other than that.. medicare, social-security, taxes, taking over the middle east (which is what you do if you put a democratic state in a place where one has seen one in thousands of years), the economy (which despite jobs, is getting better), and the team he has picked., im 99% with him... then id get some liberal who wasnt a jew (going to be hard with that last bit, with leberman running) to fix isreal and cloning.. (specificly stim cell research. I think there, BUsh has watched the movies a bit to often.
The most desturbing and down right think ive seen the democrats say so far is that president bush has no vision. WTF he definatly has a vision. Rather is a good vision or bad vision, time will tell, but im putting my chips on good, Bush is going to a prolific president. Either like Nixon (bad) or like Roosevelt (good).
Time will tell. Indeed

Taking Chomsky as your historical reference for US presidents is somewhat akin to asking Hitler for his opinion on Jews.

Yeah, because anyone who dislikes the policies of American presidents is obviously an irrationalist akin to the Nazi's.

Really? Fair enough, I'll take your word for it.
Stalin for his opinion on Trotsky, my grandad for his opinion on Kaiser Wilhem II, Jesus for his opinion on Pontius Pilate, Africa for it's opinion on Europe, Howard Dean for his opinion on the war in Iraq and me for my opinion on shit people who think posting four lines of irrelevant crap makes an argument.
Y'KNOW?

How so? Would saying
"Asking Milton Friedman on his opinion on welfare is the equivalent of asking for the KKK's opinion on black people!!!" be any more meaingful?
One is an allegedly rational analysis (and dislike based on said analysis) and the other is merely racialist irrational hatred.

Over on stormfront they have reams of evidence to support their theories. Would you give them as much credence as you would to Chomsky's latest rant? The alleged rationality of certain two bit Jews is worth as much to me as your sycophantic marxist ravings.
PS Have you copped on I'm trolling you yet? I just thought insulting Marx to get a reaction from you was getting old and I <3 Russell too much to insult him!

you cant be indited for war crimes because you failed to get a permission slip to protect yourself.
the United Nations is an organization which was created, IS FUNDED and IS OWNED by the united states.
So, plez.

Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
From the Romans perspective, Jesus was a fundamentalist/terrorist.. spreading treason through there land..
And i live in the united states, and my civil rights havent been tamped with one bit.. Who cares if some terrorists gets to talk to a lawer who then tells the other terrorists what he is saying (Thats happend already)
Being that the United States not only created The United Nations, but it funds and owns the united nations, i'd say that they will NOT be indited, additionally, you said that it was against the law to go to war without a United Nations sanction. That is no where close to true. The united states doesnt need a permission slip to protect itself.

I think you'll find that the UN was created by it's 51 member states, following a discussion between FDR, Churchill and Stalin.
Furthermore, the UN isn't owned by the US.
Furthermore, the UN is funded by it's member states.
Furthermore, the war in Iraq wasn't to protect the US.

Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
there is a difference betweeen just taking latin and taking roman history.. additona.. any one can say they did something .. but did they really..
And.. Your wrong about just about everything you sasid
The Vast majority of funding for the United nations comes from the United States
BECAUSE OF THIS, THE UNITED STATES OWNS THE UN. Not really ofc, but because they control the money, they control everything.
ANd if you remember, the League of Nations was created, but failed because the United States refused to sign. Roosevelt brought up his thirteen-points and thats what started the UN. With out the blessing of the united states, The UN would have never existed.

Re: ATTN: JonnyBGood
I think he means there's a UN building on american soil. I'm not exactly sure what that has to do with anything.
@QDeathstar:
Just because your civil rights have not been violated does not mean they - or rather the legal protections that should go along with them, and mechanisms that should guarantee them - have not been tampered with.
I've no idea what you're talking about with the terrorrists, perhaps you are unfamiliar with the idea of a legal system?
It is against international law to go to war without a UN security council resolution (by precendent such a resolution would need to stipulate 'any means neccesary' at the very least - hence the failure of 1441 to mandate the war in letter as well as principle), or else following an attack.
