galaxy banners

I'm curious why galaxy banners aren't like they used to be. I've been away a few years, and now I don't see top galaxies making banners with member names.

I don't see alliance logos on banners. No epic banners anymore. What happened?

There are a few galaxies that will still create one for the last few days, like 2:8, but generally people don't care about who's in what galaxy.

On top of that, after the last tick, nicks and alliances are made publicly available.
