In Dutchyland 2 policeofficers have been suspended while their behaviour is being investigated.
2 Districts were competing against eachother who could drive the furthest outside the district during the nightshift.

They went to Amsterdam, the zoo, a club in Rotterdam (the two districts are Gorinchem and Dordrecht, this all can be found using this

However one of the officers got caught by a speeding camera.

The ultimate goal was however, the Eiffeltower, they calculated that this was exactly doable during a nightshift.
All travels had to be proven by a digi-photo at the destination with them on it.

Apperently a whole lot of people were involved and doing it but the chiefs are trying to hush it. At least the control room was in, because they can see within the meter where certain cars are.

these were from 'local' districts, so you're point however valid, is irrelevant.

Once could say that this was (I have no idea how the English police is organized, but for instant, West End racing against Archway to erm ... Manchester, taking a pic, and racing back. While Archway (or Kensington or whatever) is trying to get a pic taken somewhere in Cornwall, preferably Lands End.
