Hey, look here and point out companies you know
We're still looking for a company in the UK where we can graduate next year Februari. So, I'm posting again to find a company worth writing/mailing/calling to.
Now, I have a source to find a company: the yellow pages \o/
Do you know any of these companies worth trying?

Haven't heard of any of them...
Only companies that offer a service to the "general public" tend to advertise in Yellow Pages, big companies who make things for others to sell, won't be there (i.e. software developers).

Have you asked your uni/college whether they have any links with English universities? or large firms?

We did, but the list is VERY short, and in the area of software it only contained Philips, which we tried but didn't get any further with. We haven't tried contacting a British uni yet to get a list from them (as I understood that British students also have to work in a company for some time), but we can try that if we know the name of an university that has such a list (*hint* *hint* ).
