battle solutions

Ground troops and astronauts/soldiers to use the surfaces for battle too. Those could be also carried by the spaceships to deliver to their destination or strenghten the ship they have manned.
- Would allow ground troops/astronauts getting captured if lost too many carriers. Would add more more wider battle selection. Would add another tactical aspect trying to get troops captured

Attackers salvage, well defenders are getting salvage from lost ships and made kills and hence are allowed to battle it out and call some cards of bravery. Attackers how ever has no way to gain goods apart from roids and them alone usually doesnt pay off if there is any defence involved. Getting salvage for made kills, would courage landings on a poor defence. Can have a non shooting ship to collect scrap metal, increasing salvage from crashing, as such do end rounds. You could also piggy and whore other attackers playground for free salvage.
- This will result in receiving battle reports again, when both have something to gain. Lets say, that this courage landing on bigger targets, for their xp, roids and u getting some salvage back from efforts on battle field. Means the game wont stagnate as easily.

XP turned to goods, XP alone wont add any strength to you. XP points could be turned/traded to money buy troops. That way landing for XP and challencing the big boys would be worth it actually. And I dont mean crashing, but close battles.

XP could be received from made kills too, rather than just roid steals, killing off someones fleet would certainly help determine the winner of the round, instead of capping a few roids.

Fresh capped roids could have a temporary boost for them, to easier pay back from your losses. This added to the proper salvage gains for defenders to stay and fight, would result in getting battle reports to read again. Also we could boost the caps of roids, making it easier to recover from losses, with a few succesfull lands. Specially if made on proper targets as explained above.

Fleet morals that decrease attacking minors, also shrinked capping, would still make sure there aint bashing happening. Would cost to bribe your morals back up, hence attacking minors would get more expensive. And the cheap/free roids wouldnt be as tempting anymore. We want people to fight for their roids and glory, don't we?

Ranks for steals, kills and capping, that determine some battle success more than just a plain score. Would

Present/artifact idea would be nice to add reasons to land above political reasons, would give something to hunt for solo players too, might be worth to sacrifice a land for an item to stop others growth or to gain the bonus for yourself. Would make u possibly wana change your on going strategies too, to keep a hold of such item.

Fleet formations - that do add a boost on salvage, armour, attack force or emp resistance

Fleet captains - add captains for each fleet, would gain them expertise from succesfull battle and give a bonus/rank, that effects the fleet morals for example.

Cov-op countering - Well right now cov-ops for defender is a lose lose situation. Either u pay to capture the covopper or u pay for them damaging your base. There is no way to win over there. We should make it so, that a captured cov-oper would give an xp bonus, or simply brainwash them captured troops on your own side, so u could self attempt to play with them. It makes sense to be able to counter all areas of waging war, as u can counter scanning, any fleet sent and so on. We could also consider spreading the cov-oping to some missile launchers, power shields and so on other technology to fight with.

Basicly we want to courage landings for defencers and attackers, we wana make it cheaper to battle it out, so the ones sitting it out wont grow by with avoiding the action. Capping, killing and fleet movement in general needs to be rewarding. We want to take the hear off from minors, make it less attractive to attack them and give more heat to people top of you, stopping the game from stagnating early on.
Even better if we can reward politics to fight 1vs1 battles and so on, but wont bother with it now.
