Planetarion Forums - Mysteriously appearing planets with roids !

Okies I hope im not the only one to have noticed, but planets turning up with like 50-60 roids and zero score before first tick .

Never see any sign of life on those planets. Now that in itself isnt a bad thing cause it creates a food chain.

However, just dont keep putting them into my galaxy when Im trying to get a player who will sign into his account occassionally

I'm pretty sure new planet signups start with increasing amounts of roids/researches as the round progresses.

There is a new "catchup code" that gives players 250*#of ticks resources extra, which allows them to initiate more roids.

Not necessarily a bad idea if u ask me.

New planet signups get a "rolling start"
In other words they start with some roids and technology, so as not to put them at a complete disadvantage for signing up late. It is however obviously still more profitable to play the entire round.

Well thats good and makes complete sense.

What doesnt make sense is that new planets are being created and people still arent signing in.

Waiting 7 days for these to auto delete isnt acceptable. If someone creates a new account and then doesnt sign in within the first 72 ticks they should be deleted then.

So these *cough* brand new players ...........can you not give them a 100 roids when they sign up cause it is making it more and more expensive to exile the completely inactive planets out !!!

Maybe it would be possible create them in a 100:Y galaxy under protection and automaticly exile them to a normal galaxy as soon as they log in.

Now that is a very logical suggestion................so i guess that wont happen then

so now we are upto 120 roids for a new sign up !!! who never even logs in !!! whens it gonna stop ?
at this rate it will be worthwhile deleting accounts and starting again !!!
