Re: Save a life
Im dubious to how much ads on the internet can help to save people with breast cancer, although I dont know what kind of revenue they get from the ads...well i clicked it, doubt I will do so again.

Re: Save a life
I seriously question how a charity that deals with breast cancer lacks funds. Theres more money pumped into cancer charities than any other. Maybe the directors and numerous admin staff can take a cut in pay or 'god forbid' do it for free. and then they can donate more free crap to people.
The only charity i dislike more than big cancer charities is the donkey sanctuary. Those people and their donkeys should all be shot.

I doubt the admin staff in cancer charities are paid that much, JJ.

I find the whole thing (especially large cancer charities) highly questionable.

I doubt admin staff in any workplace get paid much.

Save a life ... stop pushing people off the platform onto the train tracks and into the path of an oncoming locomotive.
That's all it takes people.

Not that your paying money. A few seconds daily won't cost you millions either.

If the charity didnt exist then the government would be forced to fund the checks.

I refuse to let 'emotional guilt' persuade me to click on stupid links. I also believe that it's all just very dodgy and it's nothing but bs.

The sponsor companies are paying money to the charity. Buy something from the sponsor companies, and you're paying for it in a roundabout way I guess.

Re: Save a life
But I'm not asking you to buy anything. Just a couple of seconds of your life daily. If that will cost you money, then don't. And I'm not even forcing you to.. (Someone neg-ripped me for this saying: "sod out of GS". I couldn't understand that anyway, just wanted to note it out for the issuer )

Well done, this is the most absurd leftwing argument ive ever read.

I don't see why it's a left wing argument, it's just JJ being bizarre.

Re: Save a life
You'd think it's a rightwing laisser-faire thing. A "Thank God there are charities because it's none of our business to help people"

I think it's more "If charities didn't exist like this then you'd get the cover out of the money you're forced to pay out anyway via taxation".
Either way, irrespective of the logic behind it, I'm not sure how true his remark is. There's probably some sort of precedence here and JJ might be thinking of the charity thing his dad (?) was involved in, mentioned on another thread.

Re: Save a life
I find this rather strange. People I know would tire theirselves to find a way to help in anyway possible, rather than tiring theirselves to find excuses to justify them not helping.
